This week I launched my online course, the Close & Connected Couples, which deep dives into mastering the core principles and practices to create a lifetime of love.
I’m passionate about this class because I’ve seen how it has touched and changed the lives of so many people and transformed their relationships in ways that couples thought were not possible. This is one of my greatest joys in life.
One of the premises this training is built upon is the concept of the “good self”. The good self is a new way of understanding yourself—of reclaiming the goodness inside of you, the goodness that you were born with, that was perhaps lost or forgotten because of childhood adversities.
When you remember your goodness, you start to view yourself more positively, feel happier, and respond to your partner in a healthier way. By changing yourself from the inside out, you naturally change your relationship for the better. You start attracting more positivity in your relationship and life.
In a strange way, this “couples” program is really about “individual” work. The work of becoming good instead of trying to do better. The former is about healing and recreating who you are, the latter is about trying harder…which never works.
Now this is a new kind of relationship skill to consider.
