An hour a week has a ceiling.
An intensive removes the interruption. We work for two or three consecutive days, five to six hours a day — roughly the session time of three to five months of weekly counselling, without the resets in between.
We begin at 9:00 and finish at 4:00, with an hour at midday. Evenings are yours to reflect on the day's work.
Not every couple needs this format. The ones who do, need it badly.

Depth and continuity. Three days is roughly the session time of three to five months of weekly work, without the resets in between. The difference isn't only the hours — it's that we never have to stop just as something is opening.
No. Intensives run online, in person in Vancouver, or at your location anywhere in the world.
Yes. What makes an intensive effective is the uninterrupted time, not the room. Couples who were sceptical about working over video have had some of the biggest shifts. If travelling is difficult, or you would rather not be away from home, online is a real option rather than a compromise.
You receive a written summary of the key insights and your recommended next steps within two weeks. Monthly follow-up sessions are available and strongly recommended — the intensive opens things up, and the follow-ups are what make the change hold.
Most couples who come to me have carried the same pattern for years. They have already spent far more than three days arguing about it.
Two or three days is not a long time to spend on this.
Here's the truth:
The work is hard. It is also the fastest route I know from stuck to close.
